CONTO, Elia, 90, passed peacefully on February 23rd, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lino Conto; son Dante Conto (Rosy) of Lutz; daughters Rina Sherman (George) of Heidelberg, Germany; Darlina Conto of Lutz; grandchildren Dina and Lino Sherman, and Massimo Conto. Always impeccably dressed, Elia had a wonderful, happy personality and enjoyed laughter, singing and dancing and was very talented in storytelling, jokes, planting in the garden, and was also an amazing cook. Both her soups and her sauce were unmatched. A wake will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL on Saturday, February 28th, from 3 – 5pm.
