Al worked as a printer at the Tampa Times until it closed, then moved to the Tampa Tribune, from which he retired. Elizabeth worked as a bookkeeper at several South Tampa businesses concluding with many years at the Post Office, from which she retired. During that time, they purchased a home and raised a family. They coached our Little League teams, took us camping and fishing, and taught us right from wrong. We could have been better students, but we never doubted that we were blessed to be born into this family. She will be missed by all that knew her. Following her wishes, there will be a short graveside service Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Garden of Memories cemetery at 2pm. Elizabeth will rest beside her husband, Al, and near her mother Ruth, stepsister Mary, and stepfather “Scotty” Mackintosh.
