Elizabeth B Crawley McKeon

McKeon, Elizabeth “Betty” (94) went to be with the Lord and her loving husband (John) on October 18, 2014. Betty is survived by her 4 children: John (Johnna) McKeon, Mary Beth (John) Giannoni, Noel McKeon, Kevin (Leslie) McKeon; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and friends. A loyal military wife she enjoyed all her worldly travels and ultimately settled in Tampa in 1974. In her golden years Betty enjoyed a good book, crossword puzzles and card games. A devout Catholic her entire life, Betty remained faithful throughout her illness. We will miss her loving smile, warm embrace, and zest for life. She will remain a constant presence in the lives of those she touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered up for Elizabeth at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Church of the Incarnation, 8220 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, FL 33615 with Monsignor Robert Gibbons celebrating. A committal service will follow the mass at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd. Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from the Carrollwood Chapel of Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618.
