Ellen J. Mincin

Ellen J. Mincin, age 90 of Land O' Lakes, Florida joined her loving husband, Al, in Heaven, Sunday, July 17, 2016. Surrounded by family, Ellen left this earth in the same manner she lived her life- with peace, dignity and grace. Born in Charleroi, Pa, Ellen lived in Whitehall, PA until retiring to Florida in 1985. She is survived by 3 children: Renee' Mincin, Tampa, Fl: Joann Harrison (Rob) of Apopka, Fl and Gary Mincin, Land O' Lakes, Florida; two granddaughters: Tricia McCallister (Adrian) and Paige Ujueta (George); 3 great grand children (Jacob, Jessica and Emilly), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. An avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, Ellen was just "Gram", "Ellen Jo" or "Momma Mincin" to many and for that we were all blessed. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O' Lakes, Fl on August 13, 2016 at 11:00 am. Friends may call on the family Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1-3 pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 33618. A Celebration of life will follow at the family residence in the evening. In lieu of flowers donations in Ellen's memory may be made to H.
