

Born in Buffalo NY, graduated from Hillsborough High School where he was captain of the swim team. He went into the US Navy in 1950 and served on the USS Princeton, USS Oriskany, USS Bennington and USS Saratoga. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also a referee for the West Coast High School Activities Association for volleyball, softball, basketball, baseball, and football. After he retired from the US Navy, he worked for the US Postal Service, Independent Life Insurance Company and recently retired from being a process server with Bolter & Carr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Joy Frost, his daughter, Christine Frost Batcho (her husband Mike Batcho), two grandsons, Sean Lampley, Jordan Lampley and one great grandson, Ryker Lampley. He is also survived by his sisters Elizabeth Frost Boyd, Mary Frost Bryson and countless nieces, nephews & cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL, on January 28, 2022, with a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., service beginning at 11:00 a.m. and a military burial across the street at Garden of Memories Cemetery beginning at noon.
