Erin Earle Sweezy Mauldin, 85, passed away on August 24, 2018. Born October 4, 1932 in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Sallie Mae Hoxit Sweezy. She retired as an executive assistant from Lexington County School District 5 and was a member of Praise Cathedral in Greer, SC.
Surviving are her husband, Miles Hicks Mauldin, Sr.; daughter, Melanie Erin Faulkner (Rick); son, Miles Hicks Mauldin, Jr.; granddaughter, Lindsey Jones (Devin); great-grandsons, Jericho and Justice Jones, and many neices and nephews. Mrs. Mauldin was predeceased by three brothers, Alex Sweezy, Jim Sweezy and John Sweezy; four sisters, Annette McSwain, Regena Short, Katherine Lundstrom and Mary Bates.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Garden of Memories Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
