Estella Alvarez

Estella Alvarez, 97, lifelong resident of Tampa passed away on January 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Estella was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Priede Alvarez (Cookie). She is survived by her son, Andrew Alvarez (Rita); daughter, Dina Perez (Jesse); grandchildren. A.J. Alvarez (Jenna), Dana Ferry (Matthew), Jesse J. Perez (Barbara),Trina Vichot (Ricky); nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Kent R. Corral and his staff for their loving care throughout the years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 23,2023 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 North Himes Avenue, Tampa, Florida. Entombment to follow in Centro Espanol de Tampa Cemetery, 4601 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Centro Asturiano, 1913 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33603 in memory of Estella Alvarez.
