Ettie was born in Bowling Green FL. She was a lifetime resident of Ruskin, FL. She graduated from Wimauma, FL. Ettie married James Cecil Buzbee on May 17, 1947. Ettie and Cecil were entrepreneurs in starting Cecil Buzbee Farms. “Nothing like a good tomato” she would say. She started the first Kindergarten class in 1965 at First Baptist Church Ruskin, FL. She was superintendent for the daycare, and kindergarten for many years. She taught Sunday school, had a bus route and kept many babies in the Nursery. She was devoted to God, her family and her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Cecil Buzbee; two of her, children Annabel Elaine Baysinger and James Cecil Buzbee Jr.; and one grandchild, Marca Anne Baysinger
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Sue Hornsby, Geneva Lynn McGrath, and Bonnie Jean Miller; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
