Eva Joy Sherron

SHERRON, Eva Joy, 78 of Odessa, FL (formerly of Nickelsville, VA) passed away on November 19th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lee Sherron and her parents Lester and Clarene Addington. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Will Benninghoff; grandchildren, Sherron, Michael, Taylor and Beckham; brother Maven Addington all of Odessa. Her sisters, Ila Beard, Maxie Rhoton and husband Steve, Violet and husband Roger and brother Roger Addington and wife Mary, all of Virginia and Tennessee. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and MaryKay Sherron of Brooksville, FL as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eva’s family would like to recognize those who were chosen for the honor of pallbearers, Kyle Dennison, Rick Dery, Steve Dery, Brian Dery, Scott Benninghoff and Derek Boyle. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 22nd from the Carrollwood Chapel of Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, burial will follow at 1:30 PM at the Garden of Memories. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 21st at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eva’s name to the American Cancer Society for the Trinity Relay for Life.
