Evangeline Matus Ciaccio
March 10, 1926 – March 11, 2018
Ciaccio, Evangeline “Eva”, 92, passed away on March 11, 2018. A Native of Tampa, Eva worked in the cigar industry for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ciaccio. Eva is survived by her daughters, Arleen Wertz and Lorraine Campolong (Greg), granddaughter Ashley Reilly (William), grandsons; Hunter and Chase Campolong, brother; John Matus and several nieces and nephews. Eva was involved in many clubs and organizations in the area and was very proud of being the co-founder of “Las Damas del Centro Asturiano”. The family would like to thank Vanessa Johnson, Eva’s caretaker for all the help and care she provided our mother. Donations may be made to the Centro Asturiano Preservation Foundation or to a charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 in the Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 33618 from 11am to 12 noon followed by a service. Entombment at Centro Asturiano Cemetery, 5402 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.,Tampa, Florida 33619 at 1:30pm.
