Ruggeri, Frances Catherine of Tampa, was taken by the Lord to Heaven on January 19, 2018 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Frannie was born in Folsom, New Jersey on February 17, 1919 and died just a month shy of her 99th birthday. Frannie was predeceased by her mother Leona Schrider, her step-mother and father Dorothy and Anthony Notto, her husband Anthony J. Ruggeri and her sister Adeline Perna. She was an extremely devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Frannie had a sweet and giving spirit, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to all those around her.
Frances is survived by her two children: son - John A. Ruggeri (wife, Peggy) and daughter – Elaine F. Shumaker (husband, Ed), grandchildren: John A. Ruggeri (wife, Ivy), Stephanie Ayers (husband, Rico), and great grandchildren: Peyton Ruggeri, Kendall Ruggeri, Brenna Ruggeri, Bryce Ruggeri, Hunter Ayers, and Chase Ayers. The family requests that In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
