“He’s asleep.”

That’s what l heard on a call a few hours after both Franco and l had hit the Coladinado family liquor cabinet and then went 10-speed bike racing through Gladwyne, Pa. as little kids.

God bless you Franco.

Dearest family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Franco. It was shocking and I know your grief is so strong. Try and remember he is at his final home now with his dad, and although he won’t be here with you physically, he will always be in your hearts. Our sincere condolences and much love-

Dear Coladonato’s. My condolences to all of you. I loved Franco as my brother in law from the very first day we met. He was so kind and caring. A great host always. Great food and fun times especially when his entire family was together way back then. He was a good story teller, and enjoyed hearing my stories too. I always felt respected by him through all the families changes. We managed to stay friends. I am truly shocked and so sad he is gone. I can’t imagine the sadness you all must be feeling. But on time you will be ok again and remember the huge life he was. You will once again smile as you think about him, and talk about all the stuff he did. I will miss him forever. Love your distant family in-law and friends. Bobby & Sally.
