We are so sorry to hear about the loss of our beloved sister and Aunt Gail. She was a kind and passionate woman and she will be greatly missed by every one who was fortunate enough to have known her. It is very hard to believe that she is gone and we will forever remember her for her positivity and joyfulness. She was a truly loving wife and mother, a kind and generous human being.
We first met 40 years ago when we moved to America, where she embraced us with open arms and helped us every step of the way until we were settled. During our time there, we saw one another every weekend, and she always showed her deep love and affection for us all, a love that we all shared for her.
After we left, we continued to keep in touch. We have all been very blessed to have had the chance to make great memories with her.
The sadness and sorrow of losing her this soon, will be with us for a long time.
God bless her great soul.
May she Rest In Peace.

I can not believe . You are not here. It is a bad dream.
I always appreciate your kindness . You have showing me a lots of love and support. Especially , The day I walked out of the court room. I saw you and Steven in Federal court house . I could not believe I have such a good friend. I really do not know what to do and what to say. Just being mad . The unfairness of life and how good people have to leave first. When , at most you were enjoying your kids and family.
I promise you anytime I am in Tampa. I will pay my respect to you and your family
I know you are in heaven, sleep in peace
Love forever my friend

I spent plenty of time at Gail’s house when I was little. I was friends with Stephen...and even after all of these years, I remember her so well. She was the fun mom, the mom whose house everyone wanted to visit. She lit up the room when she walked in, always smiling, energetic, and thinking of creative ways to make life interesting for us kids. She was every kid’s favorite grownup. I’m truly saddened to hear that the earth lost such a wonderful lady, but at least heaven gained a fantastic angel!

This picture was taken in April 2004 during one of our trips to Florida. Gail was always thoughtful and caring. We will remember her smile and great sense of humor. Our thoughts are with Sohrab, Ashley, Alyssa and Stephen.

Thinking of all of Gail's family, especially her children and grandchildren. I have so many fond childhood memories with the Shafii family. The past few years I reconnected with Gail through social media and I am so glad we had the chance to do so. Gail was a wonderful lady and I know her legacy of light and love will carry on through her beautiful family. <3
