I met Gary in 1984 when my band, Siren, recorded our first 7" single at GDM. It was our first time ever in a studio and Gary was so helpful and guided us through the process. It was a pleasure to reconnect with him on FB several years ago and see his various endeavors and just enjoying life.

The memorial video was fantastic and it was great to see a picture of our guitarist, Rob, in the studio with Gary from our session. I had no idea what an adventure-filled life Gary had led. It also looks like there was a lot of love.

It was a complete shock to learn of his passing after seeming to be on the way back to health. He's not truly gone, but it's still sad that he had to cross over so early. Prayers for peace of mind are sent to his family and loved ones.

I just watched the memorial video for Gary. What a colorful life he lived! The last time I saw Gary was at his restaurant in Tampa where I saw a kind, humble and down to earth man. I am diminished by his passing.

So many memories when younger revolved around Grandma Morabito at family picnics and midnight Christmas mass with family & the cousins. I was so happy when Gary found me on Facebook because I lost touch w/ many family members not even knowing where they were. When Gary reached out to me indeed was a happy day. He will be missed. Pray that memories and the love of our savior give Gary's family the needed comfort. ❤

I have fond memories of Gary and Jackie and all the cousins running around Grandma Morabitos ‘ house each holiday when we were young. Then years later when Gary had a restaurant, my husband and I visited and he treated us like royalty. His meatballs tasted just like our Italian grandmother’s meatballs !(not easy to replicate..)
Praying for you all Diane, David, Jackie .

One of our memories of Gary was his music. My husband always loved music and built a music studio in our house. Gary gave us one of his 45 s and we thought for sure he would be famous We always kept it. All our prayers go out to the family . Love cousin Janine and Tony❤️

I do remember one time when Gary and I were together. I am about three years younger than he was. I was probably about 13 or 14 at the time. He gave me a ride on the back of his bicycle somewhere in Poughkeepsie and he was going really fast downhill and I was scared as hell, so I pushed myself off the bike and landed squarely on my ass! Thank God I was not hurt! He was a daring guy. My sincere condolences on his untimely passing.
