Jerry & I were roommates at Northwestern State in the mid 1960s. We got into so much mischief that the housemother put us in separate rooms on different floors. He was also a wrestler and showed me how to get out of a headlock. That came in handy a few times. I remember going in his silver Pontiac to the Natchitoches pipeline explosion. We were one of the first ones on the scene. Of course I'll never forget when we cut classes and went to Mardi Gras back before they put up blockades and you could walk right up and hop on the floats. He taught me how to solder a connection which came in handy since I became a musician and had to repair my instrument, replace speakers, etc. I could go on all day. I've searched for him for many years and am very sorry I finally found him on this site. My condolences go out to the family.

I worked for many years alongside Jerry at both Honeywell and Paradyne. I found him to be a good friend, and a man of quick intelligence and subtle humor. He embodied what a good friend should be.
Jerry, save me a spot there, turn on The 1812 Overture, and line up a couple of projects to do. We'll pick it back up.
