Born October 6th, 1926, Gloria was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Jefferson High School and married the love of her life, Joseph P. Nicoletto, in 1945. A true partner in every sense, Gloria was diligent and passionate about everything she tackled. She loved and supported her family, unconditionally and selflessly. Gloria was a virtuoso pianist, a beautiful soprano, a self-taught culinary master, and an avid golfer. Authentic, tenacious, gracious, and an inspiration in so many ways, Gloria will be missed beyond belief.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Joseph Peter Nicoletto; parents, Francisco and Etelvina Fernandez; sister, Etelvina Alfieri Hutchins; brother, Frank Fernandez; nephew, Sammy Alfieri. Gloria is survived by her four children, Joseph P. Nicoletto, Jr. (Renee), James Nicoletto (Karrol), Joyce Geis (Bill), Jan Arango; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Sandy, Joseph, Jennifer, Peter, Travis, Steven; nephew, Richard Alfieri; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue. Interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
