While still a young woman, Gloria married her childhood sweetheart, Carl. They were happily married for 71 years and had three children. Gloria was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a good Christian, and strong in her Christian faith. Gloria shared her faith in Jesus Christ with others so they too could invite Jesus into their life and be saved. She wanted to help them understand more about The Lord and His everlasting love.
Throughout her life, Gloria was known as a loving and generous person. She always offered her help to others in need, caring for them as if they were her own family. If Gloria thought a person was hungry, she would lavish food upon them. If Gloria felt a person was cold she would offer her own blanket so that the person would be warmed. Gloria would literally have given the shirt off of her own back to anyone she felt needed it. She was always interested in the other person’s well-being.
Gloria touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was deeply loved by all of her family, friends and acquaintances and will be sincerely missed. Yes, she will be missed; however, Gloria will never be forgotten. Loving memories of Gloria will last forever. Love never ends.
Memorial services in Missouri are being planned. Interment will be arranged in the future. The family requests that everyone please wear face masks and be mindful of following social distancing guidelines, unless guidelines are lifted or not applicable at the time of the services.
The family of Gloria Schroeder wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many Physicians, Nurses, Staff and Caregivers in the Tampa, Fl. area who treated her with dignity and loving care throughout her lifetime.
