Gregory & Roberta Johnson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Lynn(Cioci) Johnson, 65, of Carrollwood (Tampa), Florida, on October 27, 2024. Roberta was born on October 16, 1959, in Alliance, Ohio, to her beloved parents, Norma and Harry Cioci.

She graduated from Alliance High School and later attended Youngstown University. Roberta married Greg Johnson on March 2, 2014, in Carrollwood, where they shared a life filled with love and happiness. She dedicated over 30 years to a successful career with Liberty Mutual before enjoying an early retirement.

Roberta was a devoted grandmother who cherished attending her granddaughter Alexandria’s swim meets and sports events. A passionate football fan, she proudly supported the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians (Guardians.)

She is preceded in death by her spouse Gregory Johnson, her parents, Norma and Harry Cioci, and her brother, Harry Jr. Roberta leaves behind her loving family, including her brother Mark (and his wife, (Diane) Cioci, her cherished granddaughter Alexandria, her nieces Rebecca and Robin, and many other dear nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home - Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 33618. Mark Cioci will deliver the eulogy at 3:30 PM.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the many healthcare providers who cared for Roberta throughout the years, as well as to her extended family, friends, and the swim team community for their unwavering support and kindness.
