Harvey Thomas Estes

Born in Oklahoma City on May 27, 1938, Harvey earned degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering before serving in the U.S. Army as a helicopter engineer. A self-made entrepreneur, he built a successful career spanning engineering, homebuilding, commercial real estate, hospitality, insurance, investments, and property management.

Harvey was preceded in death by his sons, Jason Kobe and Jevon Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Suzan; grandchildren Brittney, Brenan, Spencer, Skyler, and Stetson; great-grandchildren Hudson, Hadley, Calico, and Cove; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bernie.

Harvey will be remembered for his brilliant mind, strong work ethic, generosity, dry sense of humor, and devotion to family.

Harvey joins his sons, who have been holding a tee time for him.

Visitation will be held at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, US, on June 24, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will follow at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, US, on June 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The family welcomes and encourages you to share your favorite memories of Harvey as we celebrate his life and legacy. We will have a time of open sharing during the service.

A Graveside Service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, US, on June 24, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
