Hazel A Rupe

JOYNER RUPE, Hazel 87, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 15, 2014. She is at long last reunited with her beloved husband, Eugene C. Rupe. She leaves a grateful and loving daughter, Donna Rupe Simard (Paul Simard) and her adored and loving grandson, Christian H. Edwards, in whom she had great pride.She is survived by her brother, Billy Joyner and his wife and her friend, Jo Ann. She will be missed by her nieces (Faye Lynn McCullough, Kim Joyner Diaz (Kevin Owens), Deborah Hattori, Barba Mather) and her nephew, Rondol Tab Joyner and his wife Deborah. She leaves behind cousins in Tampa and Alabama and grand­nieces and grandnephews. She was a cherished family member and friend. Her deep love of family and friends, both old and new, was always foremost in her life and her daily thoughts and prayers. Her cheerful and animated conversa­tions endeared her to everyone. Every life she touched was enhanced by her presence on this earth. She is now at peace and with the Lord. Visitation will take place Weds. 6/18/2014 from 6p-8p at Garden of Memories Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thurs. 6/19/2014 at 10 am followed by burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
