Helen Wood Mason,67, died peacefully on January 28th, 2018 with her sons at her side. Helen was a breast cancer survivor for over twenty years. Helen was born March 14th, 1950 in Bartow, Florida, the daughter of late John Alexander Wood and Elizabeth Wood.
Helen thoroughly enjoyed her family above all. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Mason and wife Lori Mason, and Ryan Mason and wife Kathleen Mason. She has four grandchildren that she adored, John Alec, William, Amanda and Hannah. She has four cousins and many other family and friends that she loved.
For over thirty years Helen worked as an educator and guidance counselor in Hillsborough County touching the lives of so many children and families. Helen's greatest gift was her connection with children and her life was dedicated to helping, guiding, supporting, loving and advocating for them.
