HARRIS, Ian Andrew, 24 of Tampa, early Sunday morning October 12, 2014, we lost one of our brightest stars in a tragic accident that has shocked us all. Ian’s last words on Facebook were, “Another normal Saturday lol” and lost his life heading to see his girlfriend Kirsten Harper on a road he traveled thousands of times, riding his current passion he referred to as two wheel therapy better known as his Yamaha R-6. He was born in Tampa Florida, and lived for the love of the game, the rides of his life, and the people he loved. In 24 short years he left a presence in this world that few will forget. He was a best friend to everyone who knew him and the strongest man in any challenge he chose to pursue. He was a 2009 graduate from Blake High School for the Performing Arts where he captained both the baseball team and swim team. He traveled to NY City to perform at Carnegie Hall and additionally performed with the infamous Drum Line Team. He was a dedicated baseball player from the age of 4, which taught him the discipline to become an executive in the IT field and a top producer in sales for FCS INC. He is survived by his mother, Sherri Leach; father, Steve Leach; brother, Graham Harris and Bruce Miller, and numerous cousins and hundreds of close friends. The family will receive friends, 5:30pm-8:30pm, Sunday, October 19, 2104 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel. A celebration of Ian’s life will be held at 7:00pm Monday, October 20, 2014, at the funeral home.
