Irene loved and collected antiques. She was the owner and operator of The Early Attic antique shop for many years.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband, William Moates, and daughter, Jimmie Irene Tollerton. She is survived by sons Skip (Emma) and Darren Moats, and daughter Terry Danner, five grandchildren; Erin, Christopher, Missy, Jennifer, and Matthew, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or suicide prevention.
