With the help of his brother Heliodoro, he was able to leave Cuba in 1980 with his wife and two kids, and never looked back. Upon arrival to the United States, his goals in life were to take care of his family and give them a better future. He eventually started working as a truck driver and met many people and made many friends throughout the years. After driving trucks for a while, he realized he had another goal in his life and that was to own his own business, which he did for the past 25 years. His family was his life and it’s all he lived for all the way to the end.
Ismael was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Trinidad Rodriguez Pacheco, daughter Gladys, and son Ismael Pacheco Jr. He was also a proud grandfather of Dolores, Jose Jr., Ismael III, Jayleen, Ariel, Adrien; and a great grandfather to Giselle, Jovanni, Anaiya, Isabella, Damian, Aiden, and Melany.
We will miss you dearly.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.gardenofmemoriestampa.com for the Pacheco family.
