Born on September 8, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, Jack was a lifelong Floridian who cherished his roots, his family, and his community.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, M. Jack Glover, Sr. and Sarah Tramontana Glover, as well as his sister, Frieda G. Amerson, whom he held close in memory throughout his life.
Jack was a devoted father to his three children, M. Jack Glover, III, Farrah (Robert) Hubbard and Amber (Bryan) Myers. He was also a loving grandfather to four grandchildren: Connor & Dustin Myers and Avery & Tyson Hubbard, each of whom he adored and loved to brag about at every opportunity. He is also survived by his brother, Robert “Bobby” (June) Glover, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A passionate sports fan, Jack lived for game days — whether cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Lightning, Rays, or the Florida Gators. His love for sports was matched only by the joy he found in family gatherings, where his laughter, stories, and pride in his grandchildren always filled the room.
Jack will be remembered for his warm spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and his deep love for those closest to him. His presence will be dearly missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jack by sharing a favorite memory, cheering on his favorite team, or simply spending time with those you love.
A short mausoleum-side service will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 25th, 2025 at Garden of Memories, Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Followed by a reception for family and friends at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
