Jack B. Sanders

SANDERS, Jack B, 88, of Tampa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2015. Jack was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Lois and their son, J. Barry. He is survived by his sister, Peggy (Walter) Steele his daughters, Jackie Kennedy, Patti (Michael) Hall, and Cindy (Rick) Wan. Jack was a devoted and loving grandfather to Heather (Jon), Emily (Chris), Alyson (Scott), Megan (Gunner), Margaret, Rebecca (Josh), Kristen (Ryan), and Kory and a great grandfather to Ellie Grace, Faith, Grace, Joseph, and Joy. A lifelong resident of Florida, Jack was born in Lakeland and moved to Tampa where he met Lois, the love of his life. After serving his country in both the Army and National Guard, he began a 30 year career with General Electric Company in the Major Appliances Division. A proud and devoted Christian, Jack was always willing to assist in any project that would help others, especially projects for his family. After his retirement in 1988, Jack and Lois enjoyed traveling extensively, visiting all 50 states, Canada, and Europe, and taking each of their grandchildren on special trips. Jack will be remembered for his easy smile and gentle manner, along with his quiet but entertaining wit and sparkling blue eyes. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, October 8 at Garden of Memories, Tampa with visitation one hour prior.
