Jackson E. Flinn
July 9, 1947 – November 21, 2019
Flinn, Jackson E., 72, of Land O' Lakes, FL, passed away in his home Nov. 21, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his father Howard Flinn, of Ohio; his mother Marjorie (Jackson) Gratz of Nashville, IN; an infant twin brother, Jason Elwood Flinn; and his daughter, Tina Renee Flinn, of Waynesfield, OH.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eugenia (Spurlock) Flinn, of Land O' Lakes; his stepchildren, Donald Bentz and Robbie Bentz of Tampa; his step grandchildren, Amanda Bentz Cody (Jessica) Bentz of Tampa. He was expecting his first great grandchild in May.
He is also survived by his first wife, Carol (Ulray) Flinn of Waynesfield, OH; three sons, Brent Flinn of OH, Jason Flinn of Waynesfield, OH, Jarod Flinn of Wapakoneta, OH; six grandchildren; and his siblings, Kermit (Fenella) Flinn of Nashville, IN, Melody (Bob) Moyer of Bluffton, IN and Michelle Flinn of IN.
Jackson served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve in Ohio where he was a marksman, expert rifleman, cook and Merit Award recipient. He recently received his 50-year Mason Lodge pin as a member of the Wayne Lodge #569 in Waynesfield, OH, and J.F. Swartsel Lodge #251 in Lutz.
He sold his hardware store and plumbing business in Ohio before serving in management roles at Golden Casting in Columbus, IN, International Harvester in Greenfield, IN, and Waukesha Manufacturing in Wisconsin.
He loved golf (almost went professional), fishing, woodworking, softball, bowling and Ohio State sports.
The family will receive friends for visitation Tues., Nov. 26, 2019, between 1 and 2 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gulfside Hospice, 2061 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639.

Grandpa, I'll never forget your smile or your laugh. I'll always remember your favorite food to eat is steak, golfing was your second love besides my grandma lol then Florida was your next love because you couldn't get enough of the heat. I'll never forget you. Thank you for endless advice, love, laughs & memories. Thank you for making my grandma happy. I love you grandpa Jack, I know you're beside me.

Jack always had an unbelievable smile. Called everyone at Waynesfield-Goshen his friend.
