James was born in McKeesport, PA. to Betty and Edward Braum on July 4, 1940. He served in the Navy and was of the Catholic faith.
James is preceded in death by his parents and brother Edward. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Carol, daughter Cherie Carson (Blake) and son Scott (Rori), and his siblings Kay, Peggy, and Paul. He will be missed by his grandchildren Courtney, Kaylyn, Hunter, Spencer, Drew, Aubrey, Ryder, and many other family members.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM with services beginning at 2:00 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home – Carrollwood Chapel.
