James was born on August 31, 1989 to Patricia and James Wood.
James had a passion for entertainment and acting. He loved to write and direct plays, and create characters for events such as MetroCon, Howl-O-Scream, Christmas Town and more. He took his passion and used it to help others.
He was known for his genuine and generous nature as well as for having big hugs and smiles for everyone. His life will continue on by saving others with his gift of organ donation.
James is survived by his parents, Patricia and James, his sisters, Jennifer (Kristian), Jessica, Jacqueline (Justin), and Joanna, multiple nieces, nephews, aunts and an uncle.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 904 W Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, Florida 33612 at 2:00pm.
Donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in his name.
