And 20 great grandchildren.
She worked for over 45 years at Kindness Animal Hospital and was the first person you would meet when walking through the door. After retiring she would inevitably run into previous customers and always stop to talk and hug. Her love of animals was a very important part of her life and that love was passed down through generations in her family.
Elizabeth Jane Mullis was her given name, but she was known to everyone as Jane, Mom, Memama, Aunt Jane, or friend. She was kind, caring, loving, and her home and heart were always open to family and friends. The memories of our visits, phone conversations, breakfast and bacon, New Year's Day lunches, lottery scratch-offs, sliced tomatoes, sweet tea, and antique shopping are memories we will forever cherish. Most of all, we will miss the love, warmth, and comfort of her home. These simple moments meant so much and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We love and miss you, our beloved Mom, "Memama."
She was a role model for honesty, hard work, and staying focused on the important and simpler things in life, love, giving, and more love.
Mom "Memama" will be deeply missed and forever live on in our hearts.
