Jayne was a people pleaser. She was a bartender and waitress her whole life. She worked at the Colonnade on Bayshore for almost 30 years. The last few years since the Colonnade closed, instead of retiring, she has been a private care taker for others. She was just that caring of other people. She was mostly there to keep them company. A Cajun hippy lady who loved music and baseball, Jayne also loved a good Bloody Mary.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessie Russell; boyfriend of 20 years, Edwin "Smitty" Smith; brother, Jay Hart.
A Funeral Service for Jayne will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
