

Jeremy Michael Beck, 40, of Wesley Chapel, Florida. Went home peacefully to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. Jeremy, who was also known as “Jer” was born on June 26, 1984 in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana to James “Jim” Beck and Rose Marie (Friedman) Beck. Jeremy committed to Jennifer Hudson in Treasure Island Beach, FL in 2012.
Jeremy graduated from Huntington North High School/Shelbyville High School Class of 2002 and went on to proudly serve the country he loved in the Iraqi Freedom War, as a Boatswains’ Mate in the United States Coast Guard. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Florida.
Jeremy was passionate in all aspects of his life and put his family above all else. He had a love for sports - playing sports, watching sports and coaching the girls’ softball teams. Each year, Jeremy and his family would vacation at Treasure Island Beach and Disney’s Fort Wilderness campgrounds. He enjoyed the Florida sunshine and took any opportunity he had to get out on the water to go fishing with his dad, brother and friends.
Jeremy proudly helped in the community at the YMCA and trained highly rated professional athletes at Saddlebrook Resort. Later, he continued his endeavors through a dream of entrepreneurship of owning and operating Beck’s Installation Solution, LLC.
Jeremy is predeceased by his father, James Beck; brother, Jason Matthew Beck; grandfather, Andrew Friedman; grandmother, Margie Crouch; as well as his uncle, David Friedman.
Jeremy is survived by his spouse, Jennifer Hudson; daughters, Payton Hudson and Jillian Hudson, mother, Rose Marie (Friedman) Beck, stepmother, Michelle Beck; mother-in-law, Lynda Rhea; father-in-law, Joe Golden; as well as grandmother, Carol Friedman; his sister, Jamie Straley; brother, Justin (Laura) Beck, and sister-in-law, Rhonda Kostka. Jeremy is also survived by nieces, Alexis (Reid) Straley, Avery Beck, Madison Kostka and nephews, Elijah (Harmony) Straley and TJ Kostka; uncles, George (Joanne) Friedman, Daniel (Dawn) Friedman, Darren Friedman, Steven (Murray) Friedman, Andrew Cohen, and Aunt Amanda (Mark) Bodrie; cousins; Christopher (Andrea) Friedman, Sherri (Justin) Smith, Brett Friedman, Garret Friedman, Grant (Ashley) Friedman, Kourtney Roberts, and Hannah Bodrie; grandnieces; Paisley Votaw, Lainey Votaw, and Josephine Votaw.
Jeremy is also survived by his dogs; Bo Berry and Bonnie.
Jeremy’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

A funeral service for Jeremy will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 at 9:30am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. The family will receive friends starting at 9am. Military Honors will be rendered at 11:30 am Friday, February 7, 2025 at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
