Azoy, Jesus R. “Figaro” 90, of Tampa, passed away December 30, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 28, 1930, in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba and was a resident of Tampa since 1963. Mr. Azoy was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Marta Azoy and his son Alex Azoy. He is survived by his son Jesus “Chuchy” (Kim) Azoy, his grandson Vincent Azoy, a sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, many loving nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
As the original owner of Figaro’s Barber Shop for 50 years, Mr. Azoy touched the lives of many at his shop in West Tampa. In some cases, he was the family barber for three or four generations.
Graveside Services will take place at 10 am, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E Lake Avenue, Tampa.
