ALDERMAN, James A."Jimmie”, 88, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord and his wife, “Happy” on January 22, 2015. He is survived by his five children; Andrea Alderman Lee (Bob), Carol Alderman Paschall (Jim), Phyllis Alderman Harman (Bob), James Allen Alderman II (Jodi) and David Harold Alderman. Jimmie is also survived by his brother, Homer Alderman, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many friends. He was a faithful member of the Carrollwood Baptist Church, served in the US Navy, worked at the Tampa Tribune, retired from the City of Tampa Fire Department as Captain and was a longtime donor to the Southwest Florida Blood Bank. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 28 from 6-8 pm and funeral service Thursday, January 29 at 10 am. All services will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa.
