A Tampa resident of 69 years and resident of New Port Richey for 8 years, she was a loving wife of Thomas Powers Sr. and mother to Thomas L. Powers Jr.
She was a faithful Christian that loved the Lord and attended church regularly. She graduated Valedictorian from Jefferson High School Tampa, a realtor for Tambay Realty and a weight management associate with Weight Watchers as well as a homemaker.
She was loved by many members of her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Graveside service for Joann will no longer be held at Myrtle Hill cemetary Tampa. An alternate location for a celebration of life service will soon be announced this week.
