John Allan Palomino, 92, died peacefully on Friday March 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. John is survived by his wife, Doreen Palomino, three daughters – Suzanne Baker, Cathy Myers, and Lisa Malecki, and six grandchildren – Nicholas Baker, Seychelle Prentice, Gregory Myers, Drew Myers, Adam Malecki, and Raina Malecki.
John was born on March 15, 1930 in Jamaica where he met and married Doreen in 1961 and raised his family of three daughters, emigrating to Tampa in 1980. John enjoyed a successful banking career in Jamaica, and then transitioned to a productive 2nd career as a realtor in Tampa.
John enjoyed tennis and golf as recreational activities.
John, loved by many, will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered as a gentle kind man with impeccable integrity. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 3 P.M. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 17520 Marsh Rd, Lutz, FL 33558.
