John was father to John Edward Rice ( deceased) and Kristin Rice-Gonzalez, and grandfather to Riley Gonzalez. He was the brother to Robert Rice ( deceased) and brother to Jeanne Barta.
John was a veteran of the U. S Navy serving on the USS Constellation from 1961-1963. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. As a graduate of Charis Bible College, he loved to share the Gospel. He was truly blessed and highly favored.
