John Michael Yaratch

John Yaratch, 63, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away on April 21, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam War and retired from the Tampa Police Department after 23 years of service. John was preceded by his brother, Robert Yaratch, Sr. and brother-in-law, Art Carlstrom. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; children, Amy Burg and spouse, Brian Burg, Julie Fernandez, Jaimie Yaratch, and Janelle Yaratch; grandchildren, Taylor Burg, David Yaratch, Aiden Evans, Liam Yaratch and Nathaniel Fernandez; sisters, Peggy Shelters and spouse, Denny, Diana McClaran, Beverly Carlstrom and Barbara Abbey; along with several nieces and nephews. John was a loving and dedicated husband and father, who will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A visitation will take place on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6:00-7:00pm at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL 33618 with a service from 7:00-9:00pm.
