José Grajales Roldan 96 of Tampa Florida passed away in Towny Country on December 15, 2023. José was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on October 29, 1927, to Maria Roldan and Dionisio Grajales. He attended The Vocational High School Jose De Diego in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Jose married Haydee, and together they had three children, José Jr., Willis, and Ivan. He worked in New York in different factories, then moved to Puerto Rico and worked with his brothers in different fields. He also worked repairing sewing machines. He enjoyed farming, cabinetmaking, and fixing things around the house. Jose is survived by his sons Willis and Ivan. He was predeceased by his first son, José Jr. and wife, Haydee.
A funeral service for Jose will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
