MIRABELLA, Joseph Amelio, 75, passed away March 6, 2018. Joseph was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Patrolman from the Tampa Police Department. Joseph enjoyed music and D.J.ing, cooking Old World Italian cuisine; he was an avid reader and researcher, and was a collector of antiques and military memorabilia. He is preceded in death by his parents Amelio Mirabella and Angelina Aragona Mirabella. Joseph is survived by his sister Sarah Jill Mercado, nieces and nephews; Laura Ann Miles and children, Bradley James Clonts (Linda) and children, Michael Allen Clonts and children, Robbi Jean Bretz and children, extended family and numerous friends. Family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm, with a time to share at 6 pm, Saturday, March 10th at Blount&Curry at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa. A graveside service will be conducted 3pm, Sunday, March 11th at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. In lieu of flowers please make donations to LifePath Hospice in his memory.
