Josephine Pullaro

Josephine was born in New York City to William and Mary Colacchio on December 1st 1932. She married Saverio Pullaro on March 20th 1948 in New York City. Josie worked as a grocery office manager for Kash & Karry for more than 20 years. She was involved in the Italian Club for many years, and enjoyed playing Bunco and Cards with the ladies and men in her group. She had a passion for cooking and collecting dolls and angels. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and recently developed a passion for Dominoes, which she played on a regular basis with her caregivers.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents; William and Mary Colacchio, beloved husband for 73 years; Saverio Pullaro, brother; William Colacchio, and most recently her eldest son; Anthony Pullaro.

She is survived by her Sons; Nick (Suzette), Joseph, and Salvatore (Donna), sister-in-law; Lillian Kearns, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her fur baby and companion; Bri.

A service will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, Thursday February 3rd at 10:00am with a visitation prior starting at 9:30am. Burial will follow services at 12pm at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family of Josephine Pullaro wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Melech Hospice House during her brief stay with them, and the various home caregivers that she had over the last few years.
