Juan R. Rizo, age 85, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Juan was born in Cuba and was a proud citizen of the United States since 1965. He resided in Tampa for over 65 years. He loved his family above all and enjoyed raising birds, playing dominoes and watching baseball, an Avid Rays fan. He worked for Speedline Athletic Wear as a shipping clerk for over 40 years.
He is survived by his loving children: Juan Rizo Jr., and Luana Rizo; grandchildren Kristin Avila, and Ryan Rizo; great grandson, Chase Avila. He was a loving brother to Arcadio Rizo, and Caridad Rizo, Lazara Rizo, and Gisela Rizo.
He was preceded in death by his brother Abel Rizo, mother Antonia Rizo Viera, and father Arcadio Rizo Benitez.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Garden of Memories 4207 E Lake Ave. Tampa, FL 33610.
