

Juanita was born in Tampa Florida to Laura Gunter and James Lee on July 20th, 1928. She grew up in Tampa and attended Ballast Point Elementary and Oak Grove Secondary School. After meeting at church, she married Neil E. Keesler on July 1st, 1944 in Tampa, FL. They were married for 52 years before his passing in 1996. Juanita worked at Twin Lakes Elementary School in the Lunchroom and later as Head Secretary for the Principal for 30 Years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of Lake Caroll Baptist Church and attended their Ladies Bible Study.
Juanita is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Neil Keesler, her Mother Laura Gunter, Father James Lee, Brother James Lee, Mother-in-Law Doris Keesler, Father-in-Law Floyd Keesler, Sister-in-Law Phyllis Gilbert, Brother-in-Law Van Gilbert and Grandson Damon Louthen.
Juanita is survived by her Daughters, Gwyn (James) McDonald and Bonny (Donny) Norsworthy, her Grandchildren: Tara (John) Harris, Katie (Jon) McIntyre, Lacey (Larry) Coleman, Shawna (Jonathon) Otti, Cody (Nikki) McDonald, Matthew (Ellen) McDonald, and Kaylin (Stuart) Brown, 16 Great-Grandchildren, Brennen Louthen, Alexis Arnell, Cole Harris, Jasmine Harris, Savannah Harris, Kira Oneal, Miley Greminger, Noah Oneal, Cade Harris, Montgomery Coleman, Aerielle Oneal, Brayden Otti, Avonlea Coleman, Maci McDonald, Phineas McDonald, and Ashlyn Brown and Nieces, Frances Carter and Carol Fraizer.
A Funeral Service will take place on October 7, 2025 at 11 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood, 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL 33608. Family and friends are encouraged to wear bright clothes in honor of Juanita.
A Graveside Service will take place on October 7, 2025 at 1pm at Garden Of Memories Cemetary, 4207 East Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610
