Judith Murray, 77, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on January 28, 2023 following a long illness.
Judy was born in Niagara Falls, NY to Roland and Marie Carosella. She graduated high school in Niagara Falls before moving to New York City, where she attended New York University on a New York Regents Scholarship. While attending college, she worked at a home for abused and neglected children, where she met her beloved husband Peter Murray, a fellow counselor. They married in 1967 in Niagara Falls and were together over 55 years. Judy was the founder and owner of Judy’s Permit Service, a construction permit service, and Peter later joined her in running the company for over 20 years before they retired. She was the proud and greatly loved mother of daughter Dana Murray.
Judy is survived by husband Peter, daughter Dana, brothers John, Chris and David Carosella, sisters-in-law Eileen Murray, Frances Gibbons, Julie Carosella and Michele Carosella, brother-in-law Joseph Aguilar, niece Katelyn Carosella and nephew Matthew Carosella.
Memorials may be given to Feeding Tampa Bay food bank.
