

Judith Ellen Plowden (Sharp), 79, of Davie, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Judy was born May 5, 1945, to the late Walter and Ellen Sharp. Judy graduated Chamberlain High School in 1963, where she was awarded Archery State Champion. During her 23-year career as a Medical Records Receptionist at Cleveland Clinic in Florida, she received many accolades for her diligent work ethic and positivity. Judy had a great sense of humor and was always concerned for others, volunteering her time at Cleveland Clinic after retirement to bring cheer to those in need. She had a love of all creatures and could often be found walking her dog and feeding the neighborhood squirrels peanuts by hand. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children; Jennifer and (Patrick) Staerker & Michael (Susana) Plowden; brothers Dennis (Barbara) and Walter (Diana). Proud Grandma to Henson, Colin, Austin, Reis, Landon & Levi. Dear Friend to Jim and Ellen Plowden.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Walter Sharp, and her beloved dog Angel.
Private graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3 at Garden of Memories in Tampa, FL.
