Julio C Guash

Julio C Guash, 82, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on March 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 7, 1942, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the child of the late Severiano and Carmen (Caro) Guash. He met and married Estrella Pratts. While working as a stone setter, he and Estrella raised their family of three children. He enjoyed his bowling league, volunteering as a missionary, traveling to Honduras and Mexico and to the prisons to talk with the inmates about the Lord Jesus Christ. He passionately gathered with his church and family to sing Christian songs and play the guitar, the maracas and the guiro.

He will be remembered and missed by his wife of 63 years, Estrella Guash; his children, Connie Springer Correll, Julio Junior Guash and Nancy Guash; his grandchildren, Brent Springer, Leah Springer, Jeremy Guash, Tiffany Guash, Tracey Guash, Annalyse Star Guash; great grandchildren, Avery Corbin, Aubrey Corbin and Alina Springer; his brother, Tony Guash and his sister, Ive Guash.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories for a visitation from 11-12 pm with a service to immediately follow at 12 noon and interment in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
