June Hulse, age 93, passed away on February 27th at the Tampa Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lutz, Florida. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack and daughter Susan. She is survived by her two sons Geoffrey and David, seven grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Kristina, Noelle, Danny, Jack and Christopher, and 7 great grandchildren.
June was born on October 29, 1930, in Manhasset, N.Y, the first daughter of Juanita and William Taylor and sister to Marilyn and Ruth. She was a lifelong birder, beginning on Long Island, New York and continuing into her later life in Florida. She also enjoyed gardening and long walks (particularly on the beach), until age and health related issues prevented her from doing so. A prolific reader, she usually had multiple books out from the library, a habit she passed along to her son Geoffrey.
After her children grew up and left home, June lived and worked in Port Charlotte, Florida, as a nursing secretary in a hospital. She will be sorely missed by her family and surviving friends.
