Stine, June Rose, 90, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on September 8, 2021. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 28, 1931 to Stanley and Rose Filipiak. June was predeceased by her adoring husband Jack in 1997, after 43 years of marriage. She leaves her six children to cherish her memory – Cheryl (Lisa Leverett, deceased), John, Dr. Mark (Linda), Carolyn Milligan (Michael), Susan Cassell, Christopher (Lesley); twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Myers and 13 nieces and nephews and her dear friend of 85 years, Joan Lukasic.

June graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo, and enjoyed a brief career in banking before she became CEO of the Stine household. She was a woman of tremendous faith and made sure that God was at the center of our home and our lives. June was born to be a mother and had a passion for all children. She loved the beach, she was an ardent Notre Dame fan, and she enjoyed watching golf. She filled her leisure hours carpooling grandchildren and cooking for her large family.

A funeral mass will be held on Sept. 25th at 1:00 pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Livestream will be available at www.spiritualhome.org. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Project Focus at 304 Druid Hills Rd., or St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 9715 N 56th St. Temple Terrace, 33617. Arrangements are being handled by Blount and Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel.

My fondest memories of Mrs. Stine were during my days working at Busch Gardens with Mark & John. She was always able to smile (and laugh) at the occasional mischief that somehow happen to befall us. She is an inspiration, and I will always have great memories of the time I was able to spend with her.
