Justin was born in Long Island, New York to Linda Anello and Joseph La Ferla on October 23, 1979. He attended elementary and high school in Smithtown, New York, and graduated from the University of Ohio majoring in business and finance. He married Lanay La Ferla on October 7, 2016 in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He started and operated his own business with his twin brother Jason. As co-CEO, Justin operated a successful water company for many years prior to selling it to a large corporation. Justin loved playing basketball and watching professional and college football and basketball. Justin loved all dogs. He had a special love for German shepherds, especially his beloved Nyah.
Justin is preceded in death by his identical twin brother Jason, his grandmother June Lockyer, and his grandfather Terry Robertson.
Justin is survived by his wife Lanay, his precious daughter Ayla, his parents Linda Anello and Joseph La Ferla, and his stepparents Joseph Anello and Jini La Ferla.
A visitation will be held on October 22, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, US. A Celebration of Life will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
