Kathleen was one of my best friends. From the first moment I met her 19 years ago at Acosta, we were instant friends for life. She introduced me to her best friend, Connie Pearson, and we all 3 became sisters from other mothers. She will be greatly missed for her exuberance for life, that big beautiful smile, and a heart of gold. I love you, my dear friend, and I hope to be with you in Paradise one day. ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜‡ All my love to my Kit Kat, your Patti Cakes

I was introduced to Kathleen by my ex husband back in 1981 and we became friends instantly. My sister and I traveled to Tampa back in 1995 from central NY and camped out at her house as she wouldn't have had it any other way!! Kick myself all the time for not finding the time to travel there again. Kathleen is such a beautiful person inside and out and I will sure miss her. RIP my dear friend. Love you!

I met Kathleen when I was 38 or 39 and she was 15 years younger. We hit it off and became fast friends until my ex husband left me for his secretary. That was on my 5 year old sons birthday in September of 1976. I had to move not too long after that as we were renting the house we lived in. I moved to South Tampa and have lived there ever since. We tried to get together several times after I moved, but never seemed to find a time. We were both busy with jobs by then. I was so upset when I saw Kathleen's obituary and would appreciate it if you could ask one of her sons to either visit me or contact me by email. She was much too young to die. I am 82 now and do not use a telephone as I am hard of hearing. I did try to contact her about a month ago. Thank you

It was a pleasure and an honor getting to know Miss Kathleen Hurley and her family. Even in our short time with Ms. Hurley, I learned that she was very strong, a fighter. She loved her family and friends very much. Thank you Teresa Holzberger for allowing Right At Home the opportunity to provide in-home care and assistance during your family's time of need. May she rest in peace!

In the 40 plus years I have known Kathleen seldom did I see her in a bad mood, which seemed to last only minutes. She could be expected to be upbeat with a positive attitude, a smile and plenty of laughter. I was truly shocked to hear of her passing, my condolences to her family. This world is a much lesser place without her.
